Workshop opportunities – ART & MUSIC

Hey everyone! As part of our planning for the games we’ll be including special workshops throughout the games. I’d like to announce three!

1. Jinny from ArtisticIncidents will be doing a 10 person art workshop during the games for interested students! http://www.artisticincidents.ca/#!  Time to be announced.

2. visual arts workshop-Mixing colours with Leeanne Neudorf on Monday, February 13th 9:00 -11:00 10 seats available

3. Music Workshop – Lyric Writing (music composition) with Tobias Bothma on Monday, February 13th, 10-11am – 10 seats available.

Some updates in regards to some of the events -

ID CARDS – The templates were sent out 2 weeks ago – If you haven’t completed them yet, please do so. If you can’t find the template, ask your school secretary or admin to look in the school email address, or send a quick email to ritaarnault@nlsd113.net. The templates are colour coded to your team – simply paste the photo of our student participants on the template and enter any information (name, etc)

Wrestling – We will be moving to a pool format at the games. If you have any questions, contact ryanstanko@nlsd113.net

Student ID Card Information

Teams,

Once the id card template is updated with our logo/information, we’ll be emailing it out to schools so that you can place student names and photos directly into the template. This will simplify things at our end for the games. You simply drag and drop the photo of your student, punch in their name and you’re done. You can print it out at your school or email it back to us to print out. We’ve got name card id holders and lanyards at the school ready for the cards when you get here.

Arrival Times

Several of you were asking about arrival times for registration and the games. Please follow the list below which was created under the assumption that later arrival times for teams further away would allow for a more pleasant travelling experience. Upon arrival, you’ll be registered, processed and taken to your room. We will be showing some movies in the hallways and also organizing some games in the gymnasium – dodgeball!
